Napkin Pillows

You don’t always have to sacrifice pretty for practical, but you may have to sacrifice a little bit of time and effort. Below I’m sharing how to achieve a custom, designer-looking pillow without having to pay the custom, designer price!  The best part? No sewing is needed to accomplish this! P.S. I’ve linked all the materials along with several other fun patterned napkins on my amazon page!

MATERIALS

Adhesive Hem Tape , Iron & Scissors , 18 x 18 Inserts (or old pillow!) , 20 x 20 Cloth Napkins

Be mindful of the napkin size before placing an order. For these, I used 20x20-sized napkins with 18x18 inserts. 

INSTRUCTIONS

Line one side of your napkin with adhesive tape.

Place the second napkin on top.

Secure the napkin onto the adhesive tape by hand.

Next, use the iron to seal it.

Repeat the steps above for the other two sides leaving one open so that you can insert the pillow. Once all three sides are secured, insert your pillow. (p.s. you can always just use an old pillow you have on hand!)  Follow the same steps with the insert inside of the pillowcase to enclose the insert.

And viola! You now have a napkin pillow!
